Antonia Lofaso

Antonia Lofaso's food is an invitation to explore the possibilities within her. Food is what inspires curiosity. This was the result after she stepped outside of the Long Island suburbs and entered the rich cultural scene that is Los Angeles. Her belief in the idea that cavatelli and carnitas are able to coexist effortlessly on a menu reveals a taste that continues to evolve. But what remains is her distinctive vision of the future while longingly recalling the past. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso, who is inspired by her Italian American heritage. It received a warm welcome. Lofaso's old-school Italian interpretation is considered one of Los Angeles' most captivating eateries. Lofaso consistently serves excellent dishes at Scopa which is a favorite of the neighborhood. Its patrons describe it as authentic and satiating. Lofaso trained under legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she was not afraid of taking risks that were too high in order to follow her intuition. After a brief period her career, she was at the top in Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In the following years, she worked with many famous celebrities and transformed a variety of Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso worked along with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar which was an upscale bar located situated in Studio City. With Black Market and the business collaborations she set up, she found a home. Lofaso was able to finally experience the freedom of expression she had desired. Black Market's goal is to not be constrained in any way. The first course could be potatoes chips, peppers and some dill. This could be followed by Korean wings and meatballs. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the foundation of these bold flavors. Through her entire career, Lofaso has measured her success with her exceptional ability to understand her audience but still remain authentic to her personality. Her memorable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars showcased her distinctiveness in the kitchen. Her talents remain in the spotlight of cameras as an expert Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup and recurring appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Simple and Delicious Recipes, in 2012, along with Penguin. It also told the story of how she faced challenges during her time at The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea also. Lofaso claims that her enthusiasm to cook is the main for her accomplishments. She stays on top of things by keeping an eye on trends and fashion. Chefletics changes the way we look at cookwear by focusing on fashion and practicality. The main goal of Lofaso is to stay true to her vision. In this regard she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. This will provide clients with the most personal service.
