Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is an American musician from Greece . He was one of the founding members of the heavy metal group Motley Crue. Lee is the drummer for a long time for Motley Crue. He also founded Methods of Mayhem, a metal rap group. Lee has also pursued solo musical endeavors. Lee is a PETA advocate and an ardent advocate for animal rights. In 2010, Lee sent a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting against the treatment of Tilikum the orca. Lee thought the animal should be freed and stated that SeaWorld wouldn't comply as Tilikum is their primary donor of the sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure with SeaWorld's inept and bizarre method of obtaining Tilikum fertile. Lee declared that he wanted to prevent more tragedies like trainers dying due to this was due to the whales' inability to be held in captivity.
